Aladdin helps community newspapers develop both a starting point and a strategic path for online ad pricing. While designed to provide a broad, working understanding of the CPM advertising model, this application is managed by the developers of First Day Story and, as such, uses the First Day Story advertising schema as its basis.
To begin, we will go through just a couple pages of the basics of online advertising.
Then Aladdin comes to life. First, we'll ask a bit about the traffic for your online edition. If you do know the number of visits to your online edition per month, great. If not, or if you are just starting out online, that's fine too!
Next, you'll choose how many and what types of ads you'd like to offer online.
Lastly, we'll put it all together and provide a pricing chart for you, based on the input you provided along the way. We will also email you a link which you can use to re-access, share, or recalculate your custom results at any time.
